Location and arrival: the fastest way to relaxation

Our 3-star hotel is situated in a quiet and sunny position in the village of Collepietra/Steinegg, in the Val d’Ega, in the heart of the Dolomites.

From Bolzano, provincial capital of South Tyrol, a winding mountain road leads you to Collepietra/Steinegg. The small mountain village in the Dolomites of the Val d’Ega, between the Catinaccio/Rosengarten, the Latemar and the Lake Carezza, offers the Hotel Berghang and its guests an ideal location, close to hiking trails, biking paths and city flair. Even the journey to the hotel is an experience in itself! When the wide mountain panorama alternates with the view of the woods, you can feel the holidays coming closer!

There are several possibilities to reach the Hotel Berghang in Collepietra/Steinegg:

By car or by motorbike

If you travel by car or by motorbike, from the Brenner Motorway A22 you have to take the exit Bolzano Nord/Bozen Nord. From here you have to proceed to Prato all’Isarco/Blumau, where a turnoff leads you to Collepietra/Steinegg on a uphill road. The Hotel Berghang is located at the end of the village, on the Via Principale/Hauptstraße no. 26.

By public transport

If you arrive by train from north or south, your terminal will be the Bolzano/Bozen railway station. From the nearby bus station there is a bus to Collepietra/Steinegg every hour – the bus stop “Oberdorf“ is right in front of the Hotel Berghang!

Alternatively, you can reach the Hotel Berghang from South Tyrol's train and bus stations as well as from the nearby airports with the ecological shuttle service "Südtirol Transfer"!
