Arrival

The Hotel Berghang is located on Via Principale/Hauptstraße 26 in Collepietra/Steinegg.
Here you can find our directions for a smooth journey.
You can park directly on our hotel parking place with garage.

Accessibility

Our house has an elevator. Moreover, the public areas are barrier-free. For further information, please feel free to ask us any time.

Deposit

In order for your booking to be valid, we ask you to pay a confirmation deposit of 20% of the total booked amount within 8 days.

Check-In

On the day of arrival, your room will be available from 2:00 pm. If you arrive after 8:00 pm, we kindly ask you to inform us by phone.

Bar

Our bar is open from 7:30 am till 11:00 pm. We are happy to serve you drinks, cocktails, snacks and ice cream also at the pool on the panoramic terrace.

Restaurant Astra

Our Restaurant Astra is open from Wednesday to Saturday from 7:00 pm. For table reservations please contact the reception.

Breakfast

Our breakfast is served from 7:30 am to 11:30 am.

Conditions of cancellation

Up to 60 days prior to the arrival date, the booking can be cancelled free of charge. Cancellations made from the 59th day until the day of arrival will be subject to the following cancellation fees:

• in case of cancellation from 59 to 30 days before arrival, the deposit will be fuilly retained
• in case of cancellation from 29 to 15 days before the arrival date, we charge 40% of the total amount;
• in case of cancellation from 14 to 8 days before arrival, we charge 60% of the total amount;
• in case of cancellation less than 8 days before arrival, we charge 70% of the total amount.

Less deposit paid.

In case of no-show and no use of the rooms booked for the agreed period as well as in case of early departure or late arrival we charge 100% of the total amount agreed minus the already paid confirmation deposit.

Cancellation insurance

Before trip departure, it could unfortunately happen that the unexpected may occur and that you have to cancel your stay. In anticipation of unforeseen circumstances, you can purchase a trip cancellation insurance.

Check-Out

On the day of departure, we ask you to leave the room until 11:00 am.

Cooking courses

Once a week the top Chef Gregor Eschgfäller personally organises a cooking course individually tailored to the participants. Further information and registration at the reception.

Hiking

Once a week Adelinde will guide you to the most beautiful places of Collepietra/Steinegg and surroundings. Further information and registration at the reception.

Local Tax

The local tax is 2.10 euros per person and day until December 31, 2023 and from January 1, 2024 the local tax is 2.90 euros per person and day (children under 14 years excluded). This tax is not included in the total price of your stay and can only be paid on site.

Non-Smoking

Our hotel is non smoking. We kindly ask you to observe this rule. Smoking is only permitted on the balcony and terrace.

Payment methods

Cash payments are possible up to € 1.999,99. Other payment methods: EC Card, Visa and Mastercard.

Pets

Well educated four-legged friends are very welcome at Hotel Berghang. We kindly ask for your understanding that your four-legged friend is not allowed to enter the breakfast room and the restaurant. For your pet, we charge a daily price of € 15.

Reductions for children

From 0 to 2.99 years of age, children are free of charge. From 3 to 5.99 years of age they get a discount of 50% and from 6 to 11.99 years of age they get a discount of 20%.

Wellness area

The Wellness area is open from Noon to 7:00 pm. The opening hours can be extended till 11:00 pm on request. Our sauna is switched on on request.
Soothing massages can be booked at the reception upon request.

Wine tasting

Once a week we organize a wine tasting with Melanie in our wine cellar.
